It does tighten up a little with two or a few rounds in it but I used to be concerned about how free it feels. The gun I bought was the one 1 offered so I could not Examine it to any other Kimbers.I am prepared to take that opportunity as I have viewed their rifles at their best and I believe It is worth it to me.
